They helped my Mom and my siblings how to take the important items heirlooms and keepsakes and make sure they stay in the family. The ladies were patient and kind with going through all the items. They were careful with the antiques and moved things st the rate of pace my Mom could handle. We could have as much or little help as required. They are flexible and reliable. They work hard and can visualize how things can fit into small spaces. They unpacked my Mom and she was settled in by lunch.

It was a google search that lead me to SoftLandingsYYC and resulted in a perfect example of ‘meant to be’! Perhaps the YYC means ‘Y You Care’? The team is amazing- the communication is clear, on going and respects the family dynamics. Move day was monumental for our family and the fact we could sit down to dinner at 5 pm with everything unpacked and our parents remarkably calm is a testament to the expertise and experience of this team in helping seniors and their families move well and settle well! Soft Landings did an amazing job helping my mom move out of her house into a retirement residence. Over a 6 month time frame, Lynn, Jen, Loralie and Doris helped my mom sort, pack, sell items, and make tough decisions on what she should take to her new residence. They... read more also unpacked and nicely decorated my mom’s new apartment the same day as the move, so she could settle in right away. Everyone at Soft Landings was patient and compassionate, and made a daunting process much easier. I live out of town, so it would have been much more difficult and stressful for me to arrange all of the needed services on my own. Soft Landings knew what was needed and arranged everything - charity pick-ups, book donations, the sale of items, dump runs, movers, and computer experts. They went at my mom’s pace but nudged things along as needed. We experienced great communication and reliability throughout the entire process. They also got us in touch with a fantastic realtor that understands the needs of seniors. I highly recommend Soft Landings. My mom and I are very thankful.
